Once a victim logs to their site, the criminals can take the personal information and access accounts to take away all your funds.

Those are just some of the ways for criminals to carry out identity theft. The authorities are looking for more effective ways to counter identity theft but because of technological advancements, criminals have more opportunities to steal identities. Computer devices and cell phones are also some of the devices that criminals can make use to steal important information.
